These patches are available in both chenille and felt. Embroidered information in the patch is provided at no additional charge. Abbreviations are used when there is space limitation. Three inch patches offer you limited detail while four inch patches are most common. Five inch patches are sometimes used for state patches. Most designs can be used for awards. (Anchor, Baseball, Basketball, Diving, Drama, Drum line, Flags, Football, Football Helmet, Golf, Hockey, Majorette Boot, Megaphone, Music Clef, Lyre or Note, Scholastic, Shield, Soccer, Softball, States, Swimming, Tennis, Track Foot, Volleyball, Wrestling and much more.)	Chevrons Chevrons represent the number of years of accomplishment in a sport. They can be purchased individually or up to a group of four. Captain's Star 2" The Captain’s star shows the person was the captain of their sport.	Letters are usually awarded for the completion of an activity. Single, double or triple letters are available from 2 to 12 inches in Block, Script or Old English. Three dimensional letters are made in 4 to 8 inch. Embroidery or felt inserts can be added to the letters.	Numbers are available from 2 to 12 inches in both single and double digits. Three inch double numerals are most common for the graduation year and 4” numerals are often used for the jersey number.

Script Names	Script Names with Tail	School Mascots

Script names are available in 3 sizes; 2x1, 3x2 or 4x3. The first number denotes the size in inches of the capital letter and the second number denotes the size in inches of the lower case letters. The 2x1 name is used for the first name sewn on the chest or pocket. The 3x2 name is used for the first or last name which is sewn on the back of the jacket. School names, mascots, town names, etc, are also used for script names.	The school or hometown name is usually used with the athletic tail. Embroidered information can be added in the tail such as the student’s first or last name, school mascot or sport.	The school mascot is available in four to twelve inches. The price is determined by size and the amount of detail and stitches that is involved in making the mascot. We can quote a price for your mascot with a sample provided.
